Sanctified in Me

"And I will sanctify My great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, saith the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes." Ezekiel 36:23

Notice that this does not say: "When you have gone on X number of mission trips, or had Y number of 'conversions' . . . ."

No! God is, in essence, saying, "Your unChristlike words and behavior have made a mockery of My name in the world. When self is so dead in you that others can only see My love and My character perfectly reflected in your daily life, then, and only then will they truly understand the beauty of My character, the wisdom of My just and fair requirements, and be drawn to Me."
