Kathy: I have a degree in elementary education, though I'm no longer certified. I taught church school (a one-room school with 11 students in grades 2-7) my first year out of college, taught remedial reading for a year, and became a full-time, stay-home mother to our four wonderful (now adult) children, who have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. I homeschooled for roughly 20 years (there are 11 years between our oldest and our youngest), and am now "retired," though I've done some tutoring in math, reading, and English since then.
